Discount an Item

Give a discount on one or more items

Note that you can’t give a discount on items assigned to a partially paid bill, only to items added after partial payment. When discount is already given; undo it first, before giving a new discount which applies to the same items

Press the table to which the discount has to apply in case of a Split table: select the table part
Click on the word “Other” in the Order Screen
Press
Select the item in the Order Overview➂
Choose one of the buttons, from the section marked “On Article” to give the percentage shown on the button, as discount on the item➀
- The buttonsfrom the section marked “On Article“discount the selected item 100%, with the button text as discount reason
The Order Overview shows the discounted article(s) with a reduced price, or no price at all

You return to the Order Screen

In case of a plural item; the screen asks for discount confirmation, put in the number of items, to which this discount applies, on the numeric pad➄the quantity of the item is shown in the Table Overview➃Presstwo times in a row to apply the selected discount on the article

Discount on the Whole Check

Give a discount on the whole check

Note that you can’t give a discount on a partially paid bill.

Press the table to which the discount has to applyin case of a Split table: select the table part
Click on the word “Other” in the Order Screen

Choose one of the buttonsfrom the section marked “On complete Bill” to give the percentage shown on the button as discount on the whole bill➁
- The buttonsfrom the section marked “On complete Bill” discount the whole bill 100%, with the button text as discount reason
The Order Overview➂shows the articles with a reduced price, or no price at all
Pressto apply the selected discount
When you add more items to the bill, the discount doesn’t automatically apply to the added items. Repeat the steps to discount the whole bill. You can’t undo the discount when you discounted more than once!

Discount an Open Amount

You can subtract an amount from the total of the bill

Note that you can’t give a discount on a partially paid bill.

Press the table to which the discount has to applyin case of a Split table: select the table part
Click on the word “Other” in the Order Screen

Enter the amount, using the numeric pad➂you want to subtract from the total
Select a pre-set reason➃this shows in the info box➄
Pressto apply, if you haven’t selected a reason the pop-up keyboard shows and you must type a reason, confirming by
The Order Overview➀doesn’t show the discount, it is subtracted from the total in the Table Overview➁

You return to the Order Screen

Undo Discounts

Return to the Discount Screen
Select the discounted items (in case of discount on whole bill; select every article, one at a time) from the Order Overview➀
Press
The price is returned to normal in the Order Overview Pressto finalize
